Thanks to those who I affectionately refer to as "The Nutters," I have been sucked into the virtual world of airlines and cargo haulers. No, not the planes themselves because as you probably know, I have been flying the heavies for quite some time with various airlines. I've joined a few virtual airlines (Southwest, RyanAir, FedEx) simply to add some structure to my flight sim adventures around the world. Thankfully, the requirements are low with respect to flights or flight hours so they are quite manageable. For tonight's flight, I made a short hop from London, Stansted to Dublin, Ireland. I have also recently added FS2Crew to my Boeing 737 line-up and that too adds to the realism in the flight deck. I'm learning the flows and responses with my virtual first officer and cabin crew and all seems to be going well. Of course, I've been receiving strange looks from the family members as they hear me talk to myself while completing the checklists...check, check, set... :-) Oh well....onto the flight and this one went better than the last one.
